Fossil Wild is a band aiming to trace a unique path in rock music and needed a graphics package that would reflect this ethos. A skeleton figure depicted in a rough hand-drawn aesthetic, serves as an instantly recognizable mascot for the band that reflects its DIY attitude. Fossil Wild’s music draws on influences in the realms of psychedelia, grunge, and shoegaze. In order to capture this sound in image, the logo has been paired with textural images that reference distortion and deterioration.
